Scroll
Scroll a list or a page. It is a Swipe with the geometry already worked out: a direction, a distance, and a speed.
Scroll a list or page. It's a Swipe with the geometry worked out for you: pick a direction and how far to travel as a % of the screen (0–100), so the same scroll works on any resolution. Duration sets the feel — short = a fling that keeps coasting, long = a controlled drag. Tune and rehearse it on the live device when it runs, or author it here.
Reach for it when
- Reaching something below the fold.
- Paging sideways through tabs or a carousel.
Every setting this block has. A field marked only when appears once you have chosen the mode above it — those are alternatives to each other, not extra things to fill in.
- Directionstarts at Down (further into the list)
Which way the content moves — “Down” goes further down the list (the finger swipes upward).
Down (further into the list)Up (back towards the top)Left (next page)Right (previous page) - Distance (% of screen)starts at 60
How far the finger travels, as a % of the screen. 60 is about one comfortable scroll; the swipe stays centred, so it never starts on a system gesture edge.
- Durationstarts at 300ms
How long the drag takes. Short = a fling (the list keeps scrolling after the finger lifts); long = a slow, controlled scroll that stops where you left it.
- Tune the scroll on the device when it runsstarts at off
Pause the run at this step and stream the live device: adjust the direction/distance/speed, press Try it to see how far it actually scrolls, then confirm — it scrolls and continues, and the settings are saved back onto this node (2½ min limit — the step is skipped if you don't confirm in time). Disables scheduling.

“Tune the scroll on the device when it runs” pauses the run, streams the device, and gives you a Try it button — adjust until it lands where you want, confirm, and the settings are saved back onto the node.

- Nothing new — follow it with a Wait for Element or an Assert on what you scrolled to.
- Scrolling to something and asserting immediately catches the fling still moving. A short Wait for Element between them is the fix.
- A scroll that reaches the end of a list does not fail. Assert, do not count scrolls.
